There are similarities, but they look more Amish than apostolic, IMO.

Surely the old paths, that these women are following must be pleasing in His eyes!

The younger one in the middles looks sad, the other two look angry. There eyes look so empty, the way people look when they have gone through a trauma. You know they are just obeying their attorneys doing this and the men of the organization probably too, as they are so use to following orders from men. It makes my heart hurt.

What if an Amish community married their daughters at 16 in a state where it was legal? Should we send in the government to tell them, "Don't do that. We don't like your ways?"
There's a fine line here. I heard a Fox News reporter saying that since these young ladies don't know any difference we have a moral responsibility to bust in there and tell them they can live how they want to. Something in my heart just said, "Really?" Think about it...what if they disagreed with the way we make our girls dress? What if they felt it was abusive to make a young girl dress in a dress during winter and called it "abuse"?
So far I'm hearing there's no evidence of anything illegal yet. All of these was instigated by a call that hasn't even been proven to have described a real event.

Brother Hall, 16 year old girls have 2 or 3 kids, they had to be at least just at puberty to already have that many kids, do the math. And even if they do marry at 16 it is not legal in Texas, nor was it apparently in Utah or Arizona which is why they ended up in Texas. Mr. Jeff's is a convicted sex offender in Utah. That is the reality.

Re: Whoa! Polygamist solution is frightening...
They DO look sad, especially the young one in the middle. But it comes with the territory when they ONLY thing a young lady is worth is being a baby factory for the man in her life. She could be only 17 or 18 but is already trying to look like her mother and grandmother.
