potential political angles:
1) Outreach to immigrants and minorities: Look! We prosecute our whitebread freaks but leave your precious "cultural heritage" practices alone.
2) A warning to child molesters everywhere that the system works ceaselessly to root them out - even in an election year!

4) Reinforcing the importance of teacher unions in protecting the practice of institutionalized child exploitation. These guys were sequestered & independent. If you want to get in on the action, you've got to pay your dues!
5) All politics are local. And see, the local law enforcement people are working hard, HARD, I say, at enforcing some of the laws. Selectively. And at the expense of several other laws. But see how HARDWORKING they are?????
6) CPS workers now make up a sizeable voting bloc. This sort of thing makes them drool.
7) Extra-subtle peer pressure: Those people voted

8) Conditioning the country for a Hillary presidency, during which putting one's faith in action will be made illegal, if it's a faith associated with white people.
