I think Tina sang that one for Ike.

Move 1500 times and you'll see the value of not being a collector. Believe me!

I'm at the point now .... "what else can I get rid of?" LOL.

Re: Rising Costs

I agree. We have moved so many times and a few across country and out of country moves.. It gets to the point you want to get rid of everything you can that you possibly do not need. I have 4 kids so I have to keep a lot of their "stuff" and kids do not understand getting rid of everything non essential so we have downsized our stuff and they have more really than we do anymore.

Just this past weekend one of my girlfriends came over and we cleaned out the garage.. got rid of another 10 boxes of stuff. I had accumulated so much more with my sister and mom and grandparents dying and then my other grandmother moving down here and so much of it was so unnecessary! It feels so freeing to not have all the extra stuff. I kept what meant absolutely the world to me and the rest is gone!

Re: Rising Costs

One thing that gets me and I guess this is my 1 minute venting....

My husband works oilfield as most of you know and the one thing I absolutely hate is when people say Oh yall have it good yall are in the oilfield... and the other is... When someone asks why they are doing gas prices the way they are... First we dont get a dime other than a regular salary for working oilfield.. he aint drilling these rigs for us its for others! Second... Oh if you only knew!!!!

Now I am off my soapbox!! I feel better and will be quiet now! LOL
