doctor came in about an hour after the first report and said she has cancer. It is in the pelvic area, kidney failure, no strength for kemo and that we would need to set up hospise. He says it looks like it could be 6 months to a year left and for us to start preparing for the end.

Sometimes, I don't understand why my mom had to go quickly with a heart attack, but it was a blessing really. Watching someone fade away slowly has to be very hard.

May our Great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, comfort your hearts

and the hearts of your entire family as you go through this most

difficult time that comes to one and all. Many of those on this forum

have gone through this valley of pain, seeing our parents move off of

the scene of this life. But the GOD they lived for and served will be the

same GOD that will be there for us when it comes our time to go if we

are faithful. His Word tells us that He will be our Guide, even unto death.

Just surrender it all into His Precious Hands. Give Him your tears, your

grief, your all, He WILL see you through the darkest hour, in Jesus Name!
