These things are indeed going on and those who are behind it want to move as silently as they can.
If the entirety of what they do were known up front then the people would rise up against it but they present it to us in small "acceptable" bites (via the Hegellian Dialectic) and we take it in, one bite at a time hook, line & sinker.
It is a sad state how we blindly facilitate our own poisons.

I believe that the gov't is going to have more control in the lives of the people. I do not believe it has anything to do with the end-time.. and I do not believe that the chip is the mark of the beast. We are just seeing history repeat itself... can't be the world power forever.. etc.
