Atlanta
I am leaving to spend the week in Atlanta, for an Expo at the World Congress Center.
I hope to meet with Atlanta Bishop while there, but would love to meet with others in that area who may like to do lunch.
I'm flexible - just let me know... watches? long sleeves? short sleeves? speedos? ...
I am staying at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.

Re: Atlanta
If you are going to visit a UPC church while you are there I recommend Darryl Johns West Atlanta church.

Thanks. I may do that... But have not decided on whether to get a rental car when I get there. The events I have scheduled so far have been within walking distance of the hotel and convention center.

I have never actually been there. LOL!! I just have known Darryl since we went to college together and he is one of the finest men I know.
So sad he missed the will of God in that he should have been a liberal OP leader (LOL) but he is a great man nevertheless.

Re: Atlanta
The last time I was in Atlanta, the panhandlers hit me up about every 1.5 blocks. Anyone have want to donate some leatherbound Thompson Chain Bibles to these needy folk?

That is funny. I have heard good things about him too.
He is friends with my pastor as well.

Re: Atlanta
The last time I was in Atlanta was about eight years ago and it was the first time in about 15 years.
I knew that Atlanta had a large black population but was amazed that as we drove through downtown Atlanta I did not see a single white person for about 10-15 minutes.
