This is the big deal with certain conservatives, and yes, some liberals. They believe they have it all figured out. One thinks because his life is rigid, he has all truth. One thinks because he is so liberal, he has all truth. Neither is right.

AFF is a place where spiritual paradigms meet and are challenged. It is where men and women can come together and discuss issues. When cons leave, it is because, sometimes, their ideas were challenged and they could not withstand the weight of the challenge. Instead of admitting their wrong, they leave and do not want to discuss things out.

The same is true with some that are called liberal. There is a balance in this walk of faith, where liberality in Christ is met with a dedication to live in the holiness He gives us through the power of His Cross.

Believe me Mark, there are many tithe paying members of my church far more liberal than I. This is a fairly moderate state... not California.

So when a choir member decides it's time for a trim they just sit themselves down? for how long?

I don't know...I've never been sat down.

I had some things going on that prevented me from being in choir...so if not in it..I cut my hair. I recently talked w/pastor and said i would like to sing again... I was told you know the drill... get with me at some point to sign the paper... go ahead and start singing.

I enjoy singing... I will not go against platform standards as long as I actively participate in the choir.

Hmmmm....

If refusing to stop wearing pantyhose in the face of a "dividing the thigh" doctrine being preached classifies me as "liberal", so be it.

If wearing skirt style/skirt length culottes for activities that could potentially be imodest in a skirt/dress or for protection from elements classifies me as "liberal", so be it.

If listening to and enjoying all sorts of contemporary christian music classifes me as "liberal", so be it.

If refusing to condemn to hell those that don't maintain the same "standards" as I classifies me as "liberal", so be it.

I could go on but time does not permit at present. So to wrap this up in a nutshell...

I DON'T REALLY CARE! (Insert la tee dah twirling finger here)

P.S. If Jesus had been an "ultra con", he never would have ate with sinners or gone through Samaria.
