About the middle of January I requested that folks would pray for my niece Cara. She was diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoma. The word from the doctor at that point was not very encouraging.
I want to update you and share how God is blessing now.
My sister and bro-in-law took Cara to the University of Michigan Hospital at Ann Arbor today to see a group of docs who are specialists in T-cell Lymphomas. They got to see the head of the whole group, in fact
So the word from the doctor today is that Cara has something called Pleomorphic TCell Lymphoma. He said it is extremely rare in adults and almost unheard of in children. But that it typically breaks out in one place and one place only. It sounds like it would be taken out surgically (like Cara's was) and then what's left is treated with radiation. No chemo. Nothing else.
I'm understanding that to mean that this is a very curable kind of cancer.
Does anyone else know anything at all about this kind of cancer?
We are certainly dancing the Happy Dance tonight and PRAISING GOD FOR ANSWERED PRAYER!! God is so good to us and we are so grateful.
