Oh, I see. I think I read and participated in that same thread back on FCF. I didn't spend any time with it this go round.

StMark just likes to play judge of all!

Since he can't "see" the standards in men, then he can pick on the ladies!!

Re: Why does it seem that men are obsessed here...

Note: this is off primary thread topic but related to posting replies...

In response to some of Abby's observations about the 'follower' status that many husbands and fathers seem to operate from, I offer this for consideration:

Q1. In any given local church assembly, who is the father-figure/husband type?
A1. My wild guess is that the founding/senior pastor has this role.

Q2. What is the result of double-mindedness?
A2. Instability in all ways.

Q3. Can a child have two fathers OR can a wife have two husbands and serve them both; love them both?
A3. No.

In our classical delivery system of a member-minister 'church' organization,
I think it is a reasonable assessment that men in the local church are often financial worker bees in support of the calling of the local husband/father of the assembly.

The delivery system tends toward a confusion of faces/roles/responsibilites.

btw though,
what women wear and what men watch does reveal so much about the invisible things of the heart.

Please except my deepest and sincere apology for not grasping the premise of your argument on this thread. Given that my Clonazepam had kicked in around the time you posted this thread, my mind couldn't see any negativity and all I wanted was to share the "happy thoughts" that filled my head.

I will refrain from posting while under the influence of any pharmaceuticals to ensure that this will never happen again!

I think some of you menfolk are quite strange.

I can't imagine being on a thread about men's dress and commenting about things I know nothing about as if I do.

Honestly, some of you have something wrong upstairs. I'm serious here. I think there are quite a few of you who need to pray and ask God to get your eyes off other women and what they are wearing and how they are wearing it. Some of you men notice more about women's clothing than the women do!

Anyone who has been around here knows that when it comes to women's clothing issues, there are more men commenting on those threads than women. Just look at the latest women's holiness thread!!

Some of you have a problem and need to seek God. Bad.
I think its about control (or lack there of)
