You really think that?
Dora, I'll tell you like I've told others here, don't confuse us with the facts!

What does scripture have to do with our standards?

That's a little controlling and crossing the line of their authority IMHO.
Just a "little"? LOL

If it came to that (and it wouldn't since we would have left the church in question long ago), I would need to wait for the preacher to visit and have my wife open the door dressed as "Mistress Mandy" (the one who needs to be blocked even though she's on a later time slot).

<snap> goes the whip, and camera flash!

You know, in the winter, our ladies could wear ski pants when sledding or skiing, as long as they wore skirts OVER the ski pants, lol.

I guess I should add that I'm posting TIC on this one!
That just makes me CRAZY! Wearing a skirt (usually denim) over the ski bib/ski pants is a great way to break a leg or get hung up in the tow rope. Plus it looks silly. Ugh!

Oh my that's unreal.....and you are right - the problem wasn't the girls!

Girdles are just stretchy LIES. They are cosmetics just as much as mascara and eyeshadow. They present a more aesthetically pleasing silhouette versus the more repulsive au naturale bumpy and lumpy look.

Oh! And they are pantaloons - albeit nice stretchy ones that MOST men would NEVER wear.

If one truly believes that the scripture that says that women should not wear mens apparel then that would, of necessity, include pajama pants.

If pants are mens apparel and women aren't supposed to wear them then pajama pants would fall in the same category.

What other sins are okay at home that aren't okay away?

I have more to say but what I have already typed will probably be skewed from what I meant so I won't add any more fodder.

I don't think near as many people really and truly believe it is a sin to wear pants as say they do
I agree.
