I see this issue from another side.
If people say they believe that wearing pants is a sin and they quote the scripture about not wearing mens apparel then they need to face up to the inconsistency of their actions.
If one truly believes that the scripture that says that women should not wear mens apparel then that would, of necessity, include pajama pants.
If pants are mens apparel and women aren't supposed to wear them then pajama pants would fall in the same category.
What other sins are okay at home that aren't okay away?
I have more to say but what I have already typed will probably be skewed from what I meant so I won't add any more fodder.
I don't think near as many people really and truly believe it is a sin to wear pants as say they do

Exactly, that's the determining factor....are PANTS themselves what is wrong? If so, they're wrong at church, at Wal-Mart, at home, in a hotel, or anywhere else.
It's not just a modesty issue with some, it's a distinction issue.

In my house it is just the 2 of us, my husband and I, and so walking around naked is not something that is usually much of a big deal. Well one day my mother was visiting. It was morning and my husband was getting ready to take a shower. I was laying on my bed reading, and my Mother was checking her email on our computer in the spare room, which happens to be right next to the Linen closet.
My husband realized that he needed a clean towel, and I was only paying half attention as he walked by me stark naked and into the hallway. I didn't react until he was already out in the hallway, and I yelled his name in shock. He realized the situation at and quickly turned back towards the bedroom at the exact time that my Mom looked up to see what the commotion was about.
She caught a glimpse of his backside as he was fleeing back into the Master Bedroom. I went out to get him the needed towel. My Mom and I took one look at each other, and laughed until we cried.

Some people actually think it is wrong for girls/women to wear pajamas as bedclothes. IMHO this is just reaching way too far.
This thing about girls at Youth Convention running the halls in their PJ's is making me wonder just exactly what they were wearing. Were they wearing something like sweats or were they flimsies? I mean if they are modestly covered from head to toe, what is the problem?
We used to dash from room to room at GC in our sweats and had a blast.
Okay...I'll give on the issue that they should NOT be wearing their PJ's down to the hotel restaurant or hanging in the lobby.
But GOOD GRIEF! PJ's are okay! They are usually more modest than nightgowns. Where's the beef on this deal?
Guess I just don't get it at ALL!

They would be fine if they wore a skirt OVER the PJ's.
You know, in the winter, our ladies could wear ski pants when sledding or skiing, as long as they wore skirts OVER the ski pants, lol.
I guess I should add that I'm posting TIC on this one!

Is the words "pants" or "pantaloons" actually used to describe man's apparel in the Bible?
Do you people think that wearing pajamas is a "SIN?"
You really think that?
