What have you heard and does this settle it for you?
If the sign says "all you can eat" then they have to bite it....because those that over eat, are made up for for those of us, which is the majoirty can't eat enough to make it worth while....I get full usually after my first plate and don't have room for seconds....

Gluttony... the least preached on sin in Pentecost!

I've seen really large people go to buffets and only eat two plates full, while my husband, average sized, goes back three and four times! Most people who get the buffet go up two or three times at most.
I wonder if people just automatically watch larger people, thinking they are going to eat more?
... and I also wonder how many times these men went up.

Twern't me fer sure but now that you mention it, my birthday is next month and the kids & wife are taking me to Uncle Willy's Buffet.

The only thing I say is, "so little plate, for so much food!"

If you ever sit and eat with this preacher you will KNOW that he feels it is an art. He carefully cuts each piece of food in bite size pieces and then he slowly consumes his food and savors every bite! It is an art!
