That is sweet!!!!

I remember one of the first times I heard my hubby play the piano, it was that song "Lady"... He plays incredible! Of course I fell in love with him a million times over and over again....he is the most incredible man ever! Sorry ladies, I have the best!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not married, but at my oldest sister's wedding (jodiah91), the bridal party walked in to ST ELMO'S FIRE THEME. Then Celine Dion's THESE ARE THE SPECIAL TIMES played during their slide show. Then my sister walked down to Shania Twain's FROM THIS MOMENT ON (sung by her, pre-recorded), her sister-in-law sang Martina McBride's VALENTINE and then they walked out (recessional) to Louis Armstrong's WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD.

At my other sister's wedding, Jodiah91 sang Celine Dion's THEN YOU LOOK AT ME, and I sang JoDee Mesina's BECAUSE YOU LOVED ME. She also had the instrumental version of EVERYTHING I DO I DO IT FOR YOU from Robin Hood played at her wedding. . .

I sang "Only God Could Love You More"
And we had the songs

Love (can't recall the title, but it's the one Caruthers sang... What would love do, to conquer hate.. what would love do... to redeem man... etc)

And before my dad gave me away, "The Father say's I do"

I have always loved the St. Elmo's Fire theme. . . .What a Wonderful World was my husband's idea but I actually ended up liking it. . .

No, I did come down to From This Moment On. . .Daniel C and I sang it (pre-recorded). My dad had another song played as a surprise to me, but I don't remember the name of it. That song played after I had already came in but before he gave me away.

I wish we had video taped it. . . .that was the one thing that fell through the DAY OF the ceremony. . .oh well (sigh!)

I really wanted Billy Joel's song "I Love You Just the Way You Are" but my BIL had a hard time with it, so we scratched it, but I still love that song!

The year? 1978.
Are you sure Geron was just 15 then? That would make him the same age as me and I think he's three years older than I am. He played in my first wedding (1981) and I thought he was a year or so older than Kenny, but they grew up going to church functions together.

He played the piano and his brother Jeff sang for us.
