Watching that movie on DVD is an annual event at our house! I know what's about to happen, but I can't help but laugh anyways!

LOL - It was my husband's $30 Christmas bonus. He drives a truck. I drive a honda accord. $30 would give me a full tank (almost).

I get a $100.00 American Express Gift Check in the mail every Christmas. Of course I am grateful that I also may get a commission bonus this year. My company has a really shrewd accountant... he decided to motivate me by paying me my salary based on 24% up to the first $250K of gross profit and then a whopping 10% on the next and each subsequent 250K. The accountant couldn't understand why I thought was such a bad deal... Duh... especially when the year before I they put me on this wonderful pay plan I made 28% on over 800K of profit.

you do the math.

I am really thankful in spite of the inequities in pay because I work for and with a really great group of folks and they will eventually see the light. I'm sure of it.

And I do tithe on everything I get in any form of remuneration!

You sound like Jon. I'm into watching "feel-good" Christmas movies and he's like, "Go rent Christmas Vacation." It's his favorite. We need to buy it as many times as we've rented it!!

Christmas Vacation is on television all the time here during Christmas. I promise you that my husband watches it almost EVERY time it is on tv. I want to scream "How many times do we need to watch Christmas Vacation?" LOL Surely, he has it memorized by now. I like it too but not every other night.

I finally bought the DVD last year!

I was going to mention watching "Christmas Vacation" on the thread about Christmas rituals, but every other post was spiritual or family oriented! This ritual makes me look like a heathen in comparison!
