20Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 21I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling.
How do you know Thomas's doubt was sin? The others got to see Jesus first, and they had the exact same reason to believe he had risen that Thomas did: they saw him! When Thomas saw Jesus, he believed, too. Thomas doubted what he heard the others tell him. Not what Jesus told him.

I understand the point you are trying to make but I think it is fundamentally wrong to characterize having an "open mind" as you do.
An open mind simply means one is willing to entertain ideas and concepts they currently do not hold. To evaluate them. based on facts presented rather than rejecting them out of hand. That is a virtue.
DING DING DING! exactly. It never means forsaking the truth. It means an always willingness to have the truth. It is not "forsaking the gospel".

There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
I've got the victory !!!! G-nite, gentlemen. Doubt is not a sin. It's natural ... and in God's hands all things become possible.
Yep, Dan's closeminded!

Once again you confuse terms. Open mindednes is NOT toleration of sin or someone that commits sin. Goodness lol...CC1 you take over

I am not saying it is always wrong to have an open mind. I am saying there are limits to what we should entertain.

Hey, you can put an end to this discussion with insight like that.
