What Can We Agree On ?

Let me say this I'm not for The Ecumenical movement ,nor am I of the opinion that doctrine is unimportant.
I feel one must know what they believe and why they believe it.
Yet many of us here disagree with other brothers and sisters on some issues, this is no big secret here.
But what can we agree on.
Here are some things for starters.

1.The Bible is infallible
2.Only the shed blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse from sin.
3.The Divinity of Christ and the belief in the divinity of Christ is foundational for Proper Biblical Faith.
4.It's normative for believers to recieve the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the physical evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the uttereance.
5.Holiness is essential for living a Christian life.

Ok these are just some for starters, what can we agree on ?

How about these.
The name of Jesus Christ is only name to called over people in Christian baptism.
All of the fullness of divinity dwells in Jesus Christ.

We can agree that the Dallas Cowboys are good this year but unfortuentely the Patriots are better.

We can agree that anything tastes better fried.

We can agree that Community Coffee is the coffee of choice if you live in Louisiana.

We can agree that Blue Bell ice cream is amazing. Particularly the Banana Pudding flavor.

We can agree that taxes are too high.

We can agree that Rico is never going to find a church that doesnt believe in Holidays but believes everything else also like he does.

We can agree that Hillary Clinton as President is a scary proposition.

We can agree that the Middle School that decided today to offer it's students birth control without parental notification or consent is crazy.

We can agree Thad needs to find a wife.

No matter how stanuch the position:

Oneness.
Trinity.
Baptism Acts 2:38
Matt 28:19
Repentance, Baptism and HG
Sinners Prayer
Music
No Music
Minister
Priest
Women to minister
No women to minister
Water
Sprinkling
My organization
Or theirs
standards of dress, dressed up as holiness
no standards, but modesty
Falling away
Once saved always saved
Soul Sleep
off to heaven at the last closing of your eye's
Pre-trib
mid-trib
post-trib
no-trib
Rapture
No Rapture
Melchisedec was God
Melchisedec was not God

The list could fill a concordance of Pentecostal twist.

But the one thing all these men will rally around and use the same scriptures in exactly the same way and order. Are the scriptures on Tithing.

That is why we all can listhen to any one of these men regardless of affiliation, Godhead belief, salvation plan, prophecy understanding etc.

Tithing is the music of the Christian world.

Don't think I am against the principle.

My thoughts to this generation of Pulpit Rappers.

Start convincing yourself who Christ really is with the same fever you teach smart money.

Teach us with that same convincing spirit who Christ is and the path we need to follow to him by way of the cross.

That is why the world see's religion through the planes of the $$$$ sign.
