Why do you need a license to preach?

I'm not being sarcastic, just curious why you need a license?

As some have shown authority/position corrupts when one is not ready for it.

We run 40 in our service in a town where there is no UPCI within 35 miles.
God is healing people, some have prayed back through and there are many new ones yet I can't get my Lic and I do not want to go independent, why should I.

I don't need charity and don't want it GOD has always provided.

I'll go ahead and brace for the repercussions from this post.
If I were your pastor and I knew you were publishing complaints like this on the internet you would never get any recommendation from me.

I would suggest you are better off talking to the Lord about this than a forum. It wouldn't hurt to be honest with your pastor either.

For you to stoop to such indicates you might not be as ready as you think.

I appreciate your sincerity, and no you don't need a license to preach, and I do.

But really brother wouldn't you think there was a problem if someone was over an assembly and yet not part of a group, we all need accountability
and I have always been told that and I do believe it.

Also how often do you hear ministers going out of their way to invite churches to functions that are not affiliated not much.

Being totally honest you must admit having dad as a pastor did nothing but help you and I am sure there were little to no hurdles involved in your "calling".
I wasn't being touchy, and I apologize if it seemed that I went south, that was not my intent. God bless you in your endeavors.

I was not called by my dad, and I promise you that he didn't help. If anything it turned me off and caused be to backslide for awhile. I do not envy the work of pastors nor the leadership of any church. I know that it was God that called me, because for awhie I was running from His calling. For the sake of brevity, I will not go into it. Once again, Gods blessings upon you my friend.

Brother, my comment was not a heel to the back of your neck. I don't know you and this is just a forum.

However, if that is the way you look at a comment designed to make you think and examine yourself...then perhaps that explains why you think your pastor has been corrupted by power and just wants to hold you down.

I'm sure your attitude towards your church is not as hidden as you think, and it might just be the reason why you haven't been elevated.

As I said, maybe you should be honest and open with your pastor and he could then be open with you. It's a lot better than guessing or bringing the situation to this forum.

You admit a fault after it is shown to you "I spoke out of place" and then you retaliate when mildly rebuked...."its up to put your heel on the back of my neck for my insubordination."

....perhaps Josh is right, "For you to stoop to such indicates you might not be as ready as you think".

BTW, Daniel gave you great advice.

Brother you stated "If I were your pastor and I knew you were publishing complaints like this on the internet you would never get any recommendation from me."
This type of spirit is what has fueled the kaos going on right now brother.

I never said my pastor was corrupt and I never said my pastor just wanted to hold me down, you have read a lot of whats not there.

You also infer "attitude towards your church is not as hidden as you think"
meaning I have been deceptive in some way, brother you couldn't be farther from the truth if you tried.

I love my Pastor, my church, my brothers and sisters in Christ and the sinners God puts before me each day.

I won't argue with you brother I don't know you and I am sure you are a good brother forgive me if I have riled you for again i didn't come on here for this.
