Treo vs. Blackberry

I am looking at getting something I can really work with in the near future.

Can those of you who are up to speed on this give me some pros and cons of the Treo vs. the Blackberry?

Here are key points for me:

Certainly, good phone service. But, also internet, e-mail, calendar/pda functions, the ability to do some level of Office, like Word, Powerpoint, other publishing applications.

Any pointers?

Thanks.

I have had both the blackberry and Treo, both are fine, the Blackberry is designed for more intensive emailing, treo for a desk top type PDA away from you desk. If I had the money I would have a Treo again.

Beware of the DATA plans, your bill will be over 100 a month. But I would recommend both, you the Blackberry is a great email phone.

I think they are mostly for email, but if you want good phone service make sure they have the latest technology AND that they have more than one type so they can be compatiable with many services...or make sure whatever service you plan on using first will support it.

You might look at some other option too like a mini laptop with wifi capability

I've got the Treo and I'm very happy...it's very good with both Internet and email...the battery seems strong and a lot of other features...

I need good phone features, e-mail ability for sure, internet helps a lot but is not a total big deal, and the presentation capabilities are a plus.

Anybody know of something other than the Treo or the Blackberry that is great in these areas--other than the Apple (which I can't stand, sorry Ferd). I like a wider phone with a more expanded keyboard.

I really do like being able to use my laptop on the road, but I would prefer to not have to lug it everywhere, and would like my phone setup to let me connect with the net on my laptop in those times when I do bring it.
