Good words...

Dan,
I thought I had finished crying Saturday night. You've started the tears all over again.
I appreciate your stirring words, and truly believe you mean it!
It is often easy when behind the mask of a "forum personality" to take unnecessary swipes at a brother or sister. There was a time in which I, too, thought this was "fun." Believe it or not, way back on FCF I had an "alter ego" I used which was brash, abraisive, and sometimes a little "over the edge." However, when FCF shut down, I decided that was NOT the right approach.
That is why I have had no problem telling people who "Kansas Preacher" really is. I try my best to ONLY post things here that reflect my true feelings. Letting people know my name has been the BEST accountability method I have found. I refuse to create false screen names that hide my real personality. (I'm not attacking anyone who does this, I'm just stating my own personal feelings.) If I had it to do all over again, I would not even use "Kansas Preacher." I would simply use "Gregory Riggen." I believe that to be the best approach.
Again, I appreciate your kind, heartfelt words. It means a lot when a man becomes transparent. If we had MORE of that, this forum would, in my opinion, be MUCH better because of it.
I love you and am praying for you. Please do the same for me.

There are men out there whom I strongly disagree on some things, but I still consider them my brethren in Christ oh to cut ties with the Christian family is sad.
I hope this friendship between Christian brethren is not severed.

I could tell by the many friends you have that seem to be so opposite of you that even though you may not convey yourself well on here (and there are a few who are that way), you are quite different IRL.
I appreciate you, brother.

That was a very heart felt post Dan. I too have been weighing a lot of things I have said and done in the last day or too.
I still hope we are able to connect for lunch this month.
