Well, that is good and bad. The number one spot is worth $15000-; the number 2 spot is worth $10,000- and the number 3 spot is worth $5,000-.

How did she get to the 2nd spot?
The elephant in the room is the number 1 video/blogger who had a huge following (more than 10,000 subscribers). His people merely began voting him at the time without adjusting the order that was in place.

This resulted in the girl's video taking second place EARLY on. Best Buy had her randomly in first place when the ranking first started.

Michael started out randomly in the 14th spot. Our family, some of his friends and some late night/early morning risers at the forum began voting at 3am and did so hourly thereafter. <YAWN>

He made it to the third spot before the ranking system fixed his spot under the second video (I think this occurred by the first evening).

Videos underneath the top spots (with less votes and weight) were then able to bounce around more as all the other parties jostled for position. By Friday night; they too seemed frozen in place....

NOTE/ BEST BUY LIKELY NEVER ANTICIPATED THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM FIXING THE CONTESTANTS RANKINGS SO EARLY IN THE GAME.

SO is his spot safe now? Can we quit voting?

1. NO! With enough reverse order voting by the other parties; it is possible that he could fall in rank.

2. The number 1 video guy is playing different sides and now directing his people to pay attention to how they are ranking. Who he is putting up and taking down; remains to be seen. Whether his team will be motivated enough to continue voting with strength (with their guy as a shoe in) remains to be seen.

Bottom line/ The number 1 Video has the potential to help,hurt or be neutral towards Michael.

3. The number 2 video is clueless.

4. The number 5 and 10 videos have large networks of people voting. You can be sure they are ranking Michael's in the bottom somewhere.

5. Others may be still in the game and reverse ranking too. If enough posters did this and the voting was evenly distributed; it is possible that someone currently in the middle could get to the top.

6. So the key is to not look to the left or the right but keep on voting while it is day!

7. Of course, I understand anyone who runs out of steam and is done with voting. I thank you for what you did.

I am guessing Best Buy is sick about it. I don't see a way they can fix the problem now though.

I had no trouble getting on it just now. I am sorry you are sick. Get your rest.

I just found out today because I did not read it close enough; that voting ends Tuesday a minute before midnight Pacific time. That way the contest will have run a full week.

I am sorry for not realizing this before having dinner with the family today when Michael pointed it out to me.

I hope those that can, will keep voting.
