Further, saying there is a "full story" intimates I have done something wrong. I haven't. This latest pm came out of the blue. I have not been confrontational to anyone since I logged on as PP last week.

PP,
I do enjoy most of your posts and I'm only using this to express a thought. If we post threads like we are lynching certain people or an organization as a whole, some men and women are going to be defensive and we will have some fall out. It just stands to reason.

It's like calling people out publicly. Why wouldn't they retaliate behind the scenes? I'm sure they would.

In my homeschool group, when I did homeschool, there were many people of various religious persuasions. I heard all of them griping about their church leadership. Men and women alike. I didn't think I had it so bad after that.

I have no clue what has/hasn't happened because like I said I'm not part of the gossip circle. People need to learn to rein themselves in. That's what needs to be addressed here.

This should be able to be discussed without people threatening others and "telling all". It's part of what Christian maturity is all about.

I still see no problem whatsoever with Pastor P's posts and admonition in this thread.
I agree, but the lynch mob seems to feel differently.

No ... its stands to reason that we should all be big boys and girls about the TRUTH and opinions expressed by others.

This is a great opportunity to remind people of how we're supposed to be treating one another.

And how to keep one's own spirit and tongue under control.

Why anybody would want to rip another, threaten to expose and "tell all", is incomprehensible to me. It says a whole lot about the individual themself who would act like this.

Sometimes these threads and posts are a sort of "test" and we see what's really inside a person by what comes out when a little pressure has been applied.

It's pretty revealing.

You can express the truth without being caustic. That only brings on a fight.
