I'd like to know why it isn't considered immodest to buy Lincolns and Cadillacs loaded with as many upgrades as possible?

The 2nd greatest commandment is to love your neighbor.

So how is this for a thought: When deciding what to wear ask, "how will this effect my neighbor? Will it tempt him or her? Will it be disrespectful? Or will it respect him? Will it appear haughty and make me look like I am trying to show off?".
I am sure that if we asked that immortal question "What would Jesus do?" HE would ask in return "How does it edify your neighbor?".

They are only immodest when women buy them, don'tcha know.

While this is true in part, I would say that like most all dress standards we are talking about it puts the responsibility on the women to be the soul-responsibility of men and their salvation.

Women who are pretty or well-endowed can only do so much and should not have to worry all the time about making men lust and sin. I think your words are a cop-out for poor lustful behaviors of men who are not in control of their eyes, heart, or their spirituality.:sshhh

Just speaking the truth as I see it.
