But, hopefully there will be changes for the better, maybe even significant changes, in those that went and participated. If all those folks change things in their lives, it's got to have an impact in their families, churches, etc locally.
By the way, a couple of days ago, I read the chapter about your Dad on the "Pentecostal History" DVD from PPH.

Actually my comment was tongue-in-cheek.
I'm not familiar with the chapter about my dad that you refer to.

I agree with Sam, although I also think there will be some national changes. I think when people pray with sincere hearts, God listens. When that many people pray together in one accord, I think it moves the heart of God.

As a yound child (7 years old) I was very sick. My family didn't know anything much about "Oneness or Trinity" at all - if any. My mother called for some "nondenominational" women (which as I grew older I learned were trinitarians who believed in the Holy Ghost) to pray for me and I know one thing - I know God honored my faith or their faith - because God touched me and healed me. After weeks of being bedfast, I was healed!

Thanks for posting this video, D4T. I remember her doing that song. It was amazing to me to see so many young people standing on the main floor (with NO seats) for hours and hours and worshipping and dancing in the hot sun. It was well over 90 degrees outside. Nearly all of the young people had fasted all day too. The commitment was incredible!! My daughter and her roommate had walked the prayer walk at 7 am that morning before all this even began, about 2 or 3 miles in the heat - a walk of repentance.
I know it wasn't General Conference, but I have never seen this kind of commitment at any conference before.
