That there is funny. As you all have seen I was raised at an ALJC church there and I turned out just fine. Infact, my father and I used to produce the tv broadcast. It is a great tool they use. But alas, WH it is you who will be missing out on some real churchin'. CC1 you said it best they might be having church in the hotel room. Although there is a tv there too, HMMMMMMMM another dead end.

Sounds like a "chip off the old block". No doubt his son will be carrying on dad's fine tradition of posting holier than thou missives some day.

You are wrong. I do not go to inspect the church. But I don't want to go to a church that doesn't believe in and have standards. I other words I don't won't to walk into a church and find women on the platform with cut hair and make-up and jewelry. I want and Apostolic church.

All I want was to find a good church for my family. Most places we go on vacation we can find a good church. I am sure there has to be one somewhere in that part of the country. At least on in a 50 miles radius.

Brother, seriously, send Brother Epley a pm. He knows a lot of people and is part of the no tv dress code crowd. Either him or Old Paths would be a good choice for this kind of information. OP is an evangelist and knows lots people.

Looks like I will have to give OP a call. I just thought that maybe someone here knew the area.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any pastors on this board that are from TN that would pastor the kind of church you are looking for. In fact, most of the people from TN around here would fall under the "lib" category, according to the "cons" around here.

I am from Tennessee. The church I have spoken of has a platform standard. You will not see cut hair and make up and pants on women on the platform. You will see some of those things in the congregation because as I have said they have many new converts. And, I've never been there when the pastor preached for everyone to buy a tv. It was never brought up. It is a revival church. I've preached there many times. I think you would enjoy - I could be wrong because I don't know you personally.

I know of Brother Tingle and would love to visit his church, but He is a little far from where I'll be. Actually we will be heading back south on Sunday afternoon.
