I was right. Republicans stayed home because they didn't like Romney not considering the abysmal prospects of Obama in power for four more years. Romney wasn't my guy from the beginning, but if I could reverse the clock and have four years of Romney from 2012-2016? I'd take it any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Flawed, stubborn conservatives stayed home, Obama got reelected.

Soooooo...sound reasoning says "we know Hillary will 100% be a liberal; Donald Trump MIGHT be a liberal. We 100% know Hillary will appoint liberal justices; Trump MIGHT appoint liberal justices. So we want Hillary to win because we know what we are going to get with her. We are the party of conservatism and we are okay with a 100% chance our next president is a flaming liberal."
WHAT????

It is what it is. You post a thread any time it shows Trump leading in a poll. You claim it's irrelevant, but obviously it's important enough to you for you to create a thread each time it happens.

Half of those people won't show up to vote. A crowd at a speech isn't the same as a vote on election day.

We aren't electing an unfettered king or dictator. He can be impeached if he gets out of line.
And there's NO WAY he would be worse than BHO.

Flawed and naive thinking.
People said the same thing about obama.
Congress, after Clinton's impeachment and the pounding it took, is too timid and weak to seek impeachment for Trump.
There were signs of what obama would be like, and people ignored them. There are clear signs and statements from Trump on how he will blatantly ignore separation of powers, and people are too willfully ignorant to care.

What did Ted Cruz say? "We never win running to the mushy middle."
One of these days, the GOP will wake up and realize they can't win without us. It's on them.
Did it occur to you how important it is to have a segment of the American populace who don't want to go along to get along? People who want to stand for what our Founding Father's actually fought for with their courage and blood? If you didn't have this group of people, where would be be? We need to have this voice and it is worth fighting to keep. It's worth losing some battles/elections to hold on to your principles. When the dust clears at any time, these good people need to still be here.
OR we could elect someone who has the experience to "balance a budget". Oh, darn, but then there is that pesky US Constitution that is more important.

None of these policies would pass under Obama if the country had morals, electing leaders with morals. God would bless our nation. Yet, we are instructed to vote for the "lesser of two evils" as though one of those remaining isn't evil. You see? That has never made sense to me.

Re: Donald now leads by 4
BTW, let's read this Tweet by The Donald concerning Loretta Lynch:
"Take a look at what happened w/ Bill Clinton. The system is totally rigged. Does anybody really believe that meeting was just a coincidence?"
At first, I wasn't sure if he was talking about HIS phone call to Bill Clinton before he announced his presidency or referring to Lynch.
LESSER of two evils - voting in Hillary's Donor - good luck with that.
