Priebus lied and is going back on the pledge made between the GOP and Trump.

He'd better hope Trump doesn't turn on the GOP and go 3rd party.

If I'm Trump, I'd be blasting out the news of this meeting and questioning Priebus' and the GOP's integrity, honesty and trustworthiness. If the GOP is willing to break its pledge with Trump, knowing it could cause a loss in '16, how much more willing are they to lie to Republican voters and everyone else.

That scenario is not materializing. The GOP "alternate candidate" that the establishment runs will throw it to Hillary.

Monterrey, it's the only way I see Hillary winning. In the end I think the primary process will work all this out. A lot of hypotheticals have to happen before it gets to this. I think Cruz is the key. Right now he is playing it smart and leaving Trump alone. He could be powerful enough at the convention that he could throw his support to Trump or could possibly work out a deal to be his running mate and there would be nothing the GOP could do to stop it.

In the end Cruz may emerge and be the party's nominee.
