But it isn't a literal translation, word for word.

Do you know that your KJV isn't a literal translation word for word, and that votivesoul was just pointing out that the verse doesn't come out the same way from Greek to English?

Excuse me? You are the one who made the comment about running to some foreign Greek source. I just wanted to know what you meant since the Bible was originally written in Greek.

Again, the 1611 interpreters were far more superior and less biased than the authors of the modern interlinears....got one right here in my hand, copyright 1979, using different words than the KJV, here and there.
