I hate the word "idiot." It seems that the bible says to call no man a fool
yet there are those who think nothing of calling their brothers and sisters
idiots.

Only when misspelled with 2 S's.......LOL!

On FCF, someone (not anyone you'd expect) referred to I believe it was Jerry Jones of the UPCI as the (he meant to say gen asst but forgot the T......LOL!).....................

It wasn't corrected, even when I pointed it out...ROFL!

Freudian slip, I'm sure.

I don't have big problems with any of the words that have been brought up here so far. But I have to admit, there are words being used out there now that I cannot abide!! (like the word that starts with S, which replaces the word that starts with F) <--Admin, can I can this???
We couldn't even use the words stupid, idiot, gay or shut up in my house ... growing up ....

I've always had a problem w/ people saying "shoot",,, it sounds so much like the word ... especially if it's mumbled.

We still have that same rule in our home. Even with the daycare kids, they are not allowed to use those words either.

One day one of the neighbors (an adult) shouted out at someone to "shut up". One of my 3 year olds hollered back at her and told her she shouldn't use those nasty words! hehehe

I didn't misspell it! That's how it was used!

And yes, I think it's a form of cussing.
