Re: Brother Kilgore in ICU
Letter from Pastor Jim Kilgore (addressed to his church) - When Dad fell and struck his head on Sunday, the injury was so severe, the doctors in Clear Lake quickly discovered he had a bleed on his brain and because there was no neurosurgeon available there, or even in the Medical Center, he had to be taken by Life Flight to a hospital on the far west side of town. Since Sunday we've been spending our time at the hospital to be with him. Once the surgery was complete, he just never responded again. Every day he has been slipping further and further away and yesterday the doctor's told us there was nothing else they could do and he would not survive the injury. Now we're waiting with Dad, loving on him, someone is always beside his bed praying and talking to him. Dad's a fighter and we don't know what today or tomorrow holds but we know its in the hands of God. I just want to say Nancy and I, and our Children, Jean and Mike and their children, Jan and Rod and their children, we appreciate so much the incredible love and encouragement you've shown us. Please continue to pray over the next few days and I will be sure to let you know if there is any change. May God bless you and I hope you have a good day. I love you so much. (Thank you, Pastor Jim Kilgore.)
