Semi-Homemade Turtle Cake!!!!

Melt caramels with butter and evaporated milk in double boiler or microwave; stir often. Pour over cake. Top with 1 cup of pecan halves and 1 cup chocolate chips. Pour rest of batter on top. Put rest of pecans and chocolate chips on top. Bake for 20-30 minutes.

Voila, that's all there is to it. It is really good.

I think there may be some left. I have only had one tiny sliver. Really, cause it's so rich.

No. I just saw it in one of my recipe books and thought it looked good. I LOVE pecans in desserts, so I decided to make this one.

I'm almost sick now, though, cause that thing is so rich!!!!!

boy do i wished i was there to have a piece! you're fried chicken dinner was tops the day i was with you all. BTW do you fry up all that other kind of meat that your husband brings home like Coon and possum, etc ?

I had a piece of Orange swirl cake today at Star bucks. it was good but too rich. I had a headache afterwards from the sugar

I like chocolate cake, reses cups, and peanut M&M's and chocolate ice cream WITH almonds in it. But other than that, I'm not a big chocolate eater. Now the Skinner, that's a whole nother deal. He LOVES and I mean LOVES chocolate, especially dark chocolate--eeewwwww--too bitter for me.
