He was interviewed several times, and the main parts were consistent.
1) How many times was he hit. He went from "what felt like" 20-30 blows to just a couple.
2) He agreed with an investigator about bushes and said TM possibly was hiding in bushes....however there are no bushes where he said it happened. He also told PD that he didn't know where TM came from in a different interview
3) Today's audio had GZ saying TM circled his truck, but his non-emergency call mentions nothing about that.
Again, BOTH investigators agreed that he was consistent enough and that if was any more so, it would be suspicious. Det Serino said it best, "We're not robots."

Yes! There were two kinds of police interviews...evidence and confrontation interviews. The first was done right away after the event, just getting GZ's version of what went down.
Shocker from that interview...GZ did not know TM was dead. When he was taken away, he thought TM was still alive. The female investigator said he appeared shocked when told TM was dead.
The second interview was after the investigators had time to speak with other people. In that interview, Det Serino said he confronted GZ and said there was a possibility they had video evidence of the confrontation. GZ was RELIEVED and said he hoped to God someone had it on video. Serino said this was a total lie to try and trip GZ up and confess to something. GZ did not....he was glad to hear about it.
Today was a total win for the Defense. Don't let Global Grind say otherwise. They're too invested in TM's innocence and GZ's guilt to admit the truth.
