Re: Gun Talk/ Gun Show thread.

With so many gun threads I'm not sure where to post this, but I love this guy. I've been watching his YouTube video's for over a year starting when he was getting only a few hundred views per. Now it is tens of thousands and he was hired as an NRA spokesman.

Titus2Woman,

Very cool. I wish I had a home range but since I am on just 1/2 acre I don't think my neighbors would appreciate me shooting my AR 15 in the back yard!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

LOVE IT!!!!!!! Fun stuff!!!! We joined a gun club, just recently, and I am excited to try out all of our various guns.

I've decided that I don't like the 9mm handgun my husband bought me. I picked up a lovely hammerless .38 revolver by Smith and Wesson and fell in love! He had me pick up a Ruger and I shook my head no, "I want the S&W."

I carried a S&W Airweight .38 hammerless snubby as my CCW for about 5 years. I just recently changed to a Glock 27 .40 cal with an extended magazine and I love it. The weight difference is very noticeable though which is not a problem with on body carry but holy cow it feels like I have a brick in my purse if I put it in there...

You will love your gun. Get the pink grips if you just want something fun... also if anyone ever does get a peek at it for some reason they are very unlikely to identify it as a gun with the pink.

Congrats on the gun club! We are thinking about putting in a tactical range. I love that kind of shooting but they are very rare... so we may just DIY one.

I saw a pink handled revolver, wasn't sure I wanted that. But, a'unlikely to identity"...hmmmm...hadn't thought of that. I'll talk that over with my husband. Thanks for the suggestion! I don't want something that feels like a brick in my purse. lol

Good luck with the tactical range - what fun!!!

My wife has the pink Ruger LCP .380. Wish I had gotten her the pink Ruger LC9 though. The LC9 has true three point sights where the LCP has terrible sights. Of course these little pistols are meant for short distance protection anyway.

My wife really likes my SCCY CPX-2 Gen 2 compact 9mm because it is small but fits the hand perfectly and has 10 round capacity magazines where most guns it's size only have about 7 round capacity.

Shot our SKS yesterday - hardly any kick at all! Great rifle!

Lawmakers OK training Texas teachers as marshals

The bill allows school districts and charter schools to place one armed marshal on campus for every 400 students. After 80 hours of training, the marshals could bring a weapon on campus. Their identities would not be subject to public records law.

1 armed marshal for every 400 is better than nothing.
