It was a calculated political risk which I'm sure they've accounted for .... most of these things are not done haphazardly .... all those involved in realpolitik .... take all possible scenarios into account.

My impression of the letter, while being a focus of polictical banter, I personally hate this stuff, stands in the way of the Lord moving in power and reminds me more and more of the irrelevance of organizational structure in the Last days.

Keith, I was there when the speech was made. Everyone I talked to thought Rick Keyes was going to get it even the person who won!
so the outcome was very surprising to Everyone obviously to the winner too. IMO the District is already fragmented and there's little looking back. the ultra cons are having their first camp meeting next month and nothing is going to change their minds. then, the So Calif. are going to divide and have their own. Abbey supported their efforts and they did go about doing it in the right way. The only thing we can be thankful for is that we who are in this District don't have to deal with more if what you read in this letter get my drift....??? also, AA might not be the most charismatic but he does have vision and great ideas a very smart man. he didnt get where he is by fluke.

Socali,

MOst of these guys are going to leave when or if the resolution passes. another one just announced after the DC that they are leaving if it passes.
anyhow, I do think that AA has the experience to handle the aftermath.
when he was in his youth in the 60s, his home church in Belflower split. many of the members became branhamites but he stuck it out even as a teenager. it was very hard and took years to heal all the wounds. so maybe the Lord knows just the right person for this season ???

I'm going to popeyes for some good spicey chicken and then back to getting ready for tonight

I have heard the same thing. You are right...I forgot about Abbey and Bellflower. The Lord always know what He is doing.

When they leave, the moderates will be the new right wing, meaning that the new moderates will be the liberals!
