Due to diabeties and heart disease it is a must. As to the suggestion just go walking, we have done that when able, however, I am Golilocks, if it is to hot or too cold (not often) or the mosquitoes are out and about, or it is too dark or too much traffic, it is hard to be consistent.
I have looked at pilates before when it first came out, but haven't pursued that in years either.
About 30 years ago I did the Jane Fonda workout VHS and lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of energy.
But recently I have bought at least 3 excercise video's and I haven't used them. I tried one, but can't seem to keep up with even the basic, here is how you do this. lol
Looked at stationery bikes with a back, treadmills and elipicals.
