Fine with me....I wasn't trying to be offensive...It's just that I do not believe that a wedding band prevents a person from flirting or being flirted with. I have worked at a public job for over 30 years and I have seen those with wedding bands my age flirt like teenagers and men with their wedding bands on flirt the same. Men at work know their boundaries with me. I don't have to wear a wedding band to "act married" - nor does my husband.

well, my wife didnt flirt before or after getting a ring. she did complain that men asked her on dates when she didnt have one, and now says that does not happen.
Flirtation isnt the deal anyway. being a sign that she is a married lady is.

Then why when I asked the question about what Jewelry is did you make that statement about reading the entire thread?
What is jewelry? What about watches? Gold colored belt buckles? Broaches? Hair pins? Neck ties? Cuff links? What about expensive pens in your shirt pocket?
What makes it jewelry? Is it the gold and gems? So what if some lady wears a cheap 5 dollar pair of plastic ear rings from Walmart? She going to hell?
Hey if someone has a God given conviction don't change.
If the Holy Ghost tells you not to do something then I wouldn't do it.
But to make something a matter of salvation I'd have to really study the word before I can say something is salvational.
I like to have chapter and verse and make sure I can back something up with plenty of Bible before I teach it.
