Naw.

She had her convictions before we ever "traveled" in anybodies' circle.

Thats' what some folks just can't comprehend NO ONE told her anything PRO of CON about wedding rings.

I know that it's hard for folks (not necessarily speaking of you) to undersatnd that there really are folks that get convictions from God.

well, my wife didnt flirt before or after getting a ring. she did complain that men asked her on dates when she didnt have one, and now says that does not happen.

Flirtation isnt the deal anyway. being a sign that she is a married lady is.

Ferd, I don't mean to be argumentative....I'm just telling you that for me, I don't need a wedding ring to prove to myself or anyone else that I'm married...If you and your wife do, that's your business - but please don't condemn me for NOT wearing one. :-)

What makes it jewelry? Is it the gold and gems? So what if some lady wears a cheap 5 dollar pair of plastic ear rings from Walmart? She going to hell?
don't yell at me!!

Hey if someone has a God given conviction don't change.
If the Holy Ghost tells you not to do something then I wouldn't do it.
But to make something a matter of salvation I'd have to really study the word before I can say something is salvational.
I like to have chapter and verse and make sure I can back something up with plenty of Bible before I teach it.
OP I love you and I appreciate your place in The Body of Christ.

I couldn't care less if you don't wear a ring.

I choose to wear one so that I don't get unwanted male attention.

Bro.Ferd is a good brother and I think he wouldn't condemn you for your convictions.
If you have a conviction stay with it.
