The difference is that you're not willing to look at the venom and ignorance that comes from within your own party, and in fact, give it a pass. That actually says a lot more about you than it does about the people holding the signs.
What do you see from Republicans when "one of their own" does something stupid? You see people renouncing it, taking a stand against it and distancing that person from the platform they believe in. What do Democrats do? They circle the wagon and make excuses for horrific behavior.
I can almost understand your posts on just a political level; I expect viciousness in political conversations. I can't, however, understand how you can say some of the things you do and call yourself a Christian. It baffles me.

Miss Brattified, that's the reason I started a post of "Is Fairness a part of being Godly?" It seems with some it's okay to be as ugly and disagreeable as you can be, as unfair as you can be, as long as it deals with politics. I'm thinking back, I hope I have not done this same thing myself. I know at times I have wanted to tell some off! If I did, forgive me...... "but you better vote for..........!!!"

Got it.
It does appear that people put politics in a separate box and somehow apply separate rules to how they can speak and behave in that arena. I'm not sure how they justify it, but it's not justifiable.
