Cool. I give the Catholics credit on that. Let the Oneness Churches learn from truth wherever it happens to come from.

I know the Eastern European Catholics still hold this close as do many Russian groups. Those who are not being influenced by Americanism.

I forgot to say that this was before Vatican II when everything changed.

We wore veils during the time they said mass in Latin. Vatican II changed the mass to the English version. My daddy was disgusted when they brought in guitar music.

I think this was more of a cultural thing than religious but just became religious to many.

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Hmmm I thought scripture was inspired of God? Paul went through all that teaching over nothing?
