It's crazy that you won't find evidence that Newt ever voted against anything he campaigned on but, Romney has broken numerous pledges in Massachusetts to both Conservatives and Liberals. I expect, if he wins, he will do that in the White House as well.
We are voting for the next President of the United States, not who will be the next Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Is Gingrich more worthy of the office?

Now it's starting to look like the notorious "cone of uncertainty" is pointing westward and Mobile, Alabama is right smack in the center of it now.

So if this storm DOESN'T hit Tampa and hits Mobile what will then happen to DMs theory that this is punishment from God?

*crickets*
"DM's theory" among many other things he/she posts are easily discounted and disregarded. I refer you to the "Romney Responsible for Woman's Death" thread that DM submitted without any retractions or mea culpas once it was denounced even by Democrats as a horrible and baseless accusation by the Super PAC that submitted it.

If the conservatives expect every election to get what they want on every issue, they are destined to lose every single time. You are living in a fantasy world if you think a Gingrich, Ron Paul, or some other clearly solidly conservative candidate will win. If there is a chance, it has be a Reaganesque type of candidate. One who is electable and doesn't have a checkered past or a quirky, weird aura about them.

You all can congratulate yourself for being "principled" voters while being blind to the realities of modern politics. I see the real danger and what's at stake and know that not getting 100% of what I want politically is okay as long as I know something as fundamentally important as our nation going bankrupt and weakened economically will be averted.

Obama will drive this nation to financial ruin. Romney/Ryan have a plan that's sensible and workable.

And they are going to win, with or without your support.

Without - And just to have a "win" isn't important to me at all. I'm not after a "win". You can a "win" and get the same thing.

And, BTW, this is YOUR party. How does it make YOU feel?

Re: Isaac and the RNC

PO - why do you keep pushing doctrines which the Mormons no longer follow or believe in?
I guess it is to just further your argument.

snippet

President Gordon B. Hinckley with Don Lattin, the San Francisco Chronicle religion writer. The article was dated Sunday, April 13, 1997 [10]:

Q: There are some significant differences in your beliefs. For instance, don't Mormons believe that God was once a man?
A: I wouldn't say that. There was a couplet coined, "As man is, God once was. As God is, man may become." Now that's more of a couplet than anything else. That gets into some pretty deep theology that we don't know very much about.
Time magazine of August 4, 1997, in an article titled "Kingdom Come," page 56 [11]:

Q: Just another related question that comes up is the statements in the King Follet discourse by the Prophet.
A: Yeah
Q: ... about that, God the Father was once a man as we were. This is something that Christian writers are always addressing. Is this the teaching of the church today, that God the Father was once a man like we are?
A: I don’t know that we teach it. I don’t know that we emphasize it. I haven’t heard it discussed for a long time in public discourse. I don’t know. I don’t know all the circumstances under which that statement was made. I understand the philosophical background behind it. But I don’t know a lot about it and I don’t know that others know a lot about it.
See main article: Gordon B. Hinckley interviews

Why don't you hold Catholics responsible for burning heretics?
Or for the selling of dispensations?
Guess those do not help your cause celebre...

I listened to the full audio to get context to his "*gd* America" and "chickens coming home to roost" statements. I agree with what he said. *gasp*

What exactly did you agree with?
Yes, I am shocked to read this from you.
