Okay, I am still a little confused, the post that you replied to said that PM was me, and then you replied and said that it was not you. I do not know you, but I do know that you are not me, as evidenced that we are both online at the same time. Here is the post that you replied to:

It is coding built in to the BBCode using php to Identify the User and in place of the code, place the current viewers name.

That was how it was done. It is all done with computer code. That is where the confusion was.

It's been a trick that gets played every few months. It always gets the newbies....occassionlly it gets some folks a bit riled up. ;-)
