So the closer we get to 1st Century Christians, the people living within a generation's ear of the Apostles -- we just throw it out because some cutesy little "the crowd isn't always right" ingenuous remark?
Right or not, they show us a picture of how believers viewed themselves in relationship to the world around them. I'm not sure I can support that they are "wrong."

I have found that most people that think they look good in a tank top.........don't!!

I've noticed that too.
I've seen it in real life and in pics.
I had linked a website of people of walmart pics, but after perusing some of the pictures, I found them funny, disturbing, and not appropriate.

Besides, don't know of any Roman bathhouses in my neighborhood. That was sooooooooo 20's (220's that is).
