The passing of Bro. Allen Oggs...

We moments ago received a phone call from Bro. Oggs' brother in law that he passed this morning at around 5:30 a.m.

Please rmember this family in prayer...

Not sure if any of you know this, but HO is 'shirttail relation' to Bro. Oggs. His wife is the stepdaughter of HO's aunt who recently passed.

Bro Oggs was absolutely one of my favorites. He overcame many obstacles. I think we can truly say that he fought a good fight.........

Brother Oggs certainly had "the want to"! Who could ever forget him talking to his bicycle when he was learning to ride? He did more with an impediment than most of us do with a whole body. There are no impediments resting in the arms of his Father now.

Rejoicing for a faithful servant, and praying for the family that will miss him!

This post brought tears to my eyes. I loved to hear Brother Oggs tell stories. He was an amazing person that I admired.

Bro. Oggs preached at Christ Church about 5 or 6 years ago. He was well recieved and sold a couple hundred copies of his book.

I have always wondered if he got a lot of flack for preaching for us, being that we are ex-UPC! He never came back!

I was in a service where he was speaking. Also in the service was one of the UPCs' fake healers. Oggs turned to him and said "Now don't go and heal me and ruin my ministry". I laughed for about 10 minutes.oloroid
