ROMANS CHAPTER 10 VERS. 14 " But how are men to call upon him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?"

"He that doeth the will of God shall abide for ever."

Dear Homeland Supporters

How great and noble is the task that God has entrusted in my hands! Sometimes I find myself wondering why I was chosen for such an enormous task. Yet we all know we were chosen for a divine part in an eternal plan before the beginning of time. I am doing my best with all that is within me to fulfill my calling.
Despite the crushing workload and chronic understaffing we march FORWARD! We just finished our 35th convention and this weekend we are having our local ladies conference here in Campinas this weekend. There is not one weekend that somewhere in Brazil some church of ours is not celebrating some type special service. The work is so huge we cannot make all the special services but we try to make as many as possible. I also send my brothers and help my folks to make many of the services along with many other Brazilian pastors that assist me in ministry.
We have really been working at my headquarters church. We roofed the open air hall connecting church and offices; we put down tiles on the kitchen floor, built 10 new benches for the sanctuary, and repainted the entire church, bible school and offices.
Planting new churches, teaching and discipleship of believers, from running Christian bible schools and helping to feeding the hungry in the name of Jesus is just a part of the many things we are involved in. there are a great number of people who are spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ. So that means there are many needs that I ask you to pray about. I plead for the starving, common people those that have no spiritual or natural food.

The demand for the Word of God is so great and our supply is always so limited in many places. It is always sad when we run out of bibles and tracts and have to leave so many people standing disappointed and empty handed. Please pray that God will grant many of these dear people, who so little of this world´s goods, the eternal riches of Jesus Christ.
I have a passion for the reign of God and for this to happen we must all work with eternity in mind. Earthly circumstances can never stay our hand.
Please consider a donation to underwrite the costs needed to support one of our new works. Giving to them you are giving to Jesus.
Every gift, large or small, is appreciated and goes a long way in changing the lives of thousands of people through our dedicated workers and Helpers.
I was just talking to a well respected minister from the states and he told me, Brother Alvear, you all have chosen the best course for a strong Brazilian work even though the cost has been very high to you and your folks. A strong work that will outlast a lifetime...a century...and will continue until Jesus comes no matter what type government takes over this country. Thanks to those that help me carry this heavy load. Thanks for your prayers and giving. Without your help we could not carry on.
Our greatest need at the moment is bricks for the building of our church on our campgrounds. With the money from Elder Garrett we were able to pay machines to level the ground, pack the earth men to dig and put in a very strong foundation but now we need bricks cement sand for the walls. This is a giant size project and to get it done I must ask your help for I have no means to build such a large needed building without the help of all my friends.

I would also like to mention that my brother Michael is in need of your help to bring his son to America for his "way over due" heart exams. If you should feel to help him and his family please earmark your offing for this purpose.

Earth´s work does not go unnoticed by Him who records not only our giving but what we have left over. One thing I personally know about many that help our family is that they have given even their "bread money" but we hear so many testimonies of how God blesses those that give. I know the reason for this! Nothing is nearer the heart of God than missions. His whole work, His whole plan is about the saving of souls. Thank you for being involved in this great effort in Brazil.

Your Friends in Missions

Brother Raul Jr Alvear and family
