Where is MOW and why hasn’t there been some kind of announcement?

OK, it has been some time now and MOW is gone and has been gone for a while.
I have seen some odd posts that allude to this without actually saying anything definite .

MOW is one of the major players in the Admin team. I think he may even be an owner, but he is MIA.
What gives? What is going on, on AFF?

Well, he has been gone for a week and generally when he steps away he says so. that isnt like him.

I'm pretty sure the rapture hasn't taken place because Sister Alvear is still here.

MOW has stepped down as moderator. He will be missed because he believed in the fun factor!!!!

I just checked his profile and it's still here and his last sign in was 7/31.

Interpretation? His leaving was the result of a disagreement so no one is saying why he left! It is obvious that had he would have said why he was leaving so suddenly unless there was some problem.
