I believe exactly what your pastor believes.In fact I have sat in and helped with the sessions he and my pastor did.So yes they can open those doors
and yes they can be oppressed.Possessed? hum....if they open the door long enough.

This type of ministry was new territory for me after moving back here from TN. And I'm still learning.

I knew that and it was a concern I am sure.You have probably the best pastor to learn it from.He taught a seminar to our church family and
everyone went through a session.Alot of good came from it.
Have you sat in on a session with him? That is where the most
can be learned.

I just can't see the Lord sharing the temple with the devil.........

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
