Blood Thirsty Mormons

Under the Banner of Heaven: A Story of Violent Faith written by Jon Krakauer. Which tells the story of the two nut job Mormons killing their brother's wife and daughter. the two murderers Ron and Dan Lafferty were individuals who left the mainstream LDS to start their own polygamist cult. They ended up killing their sister in law, and their infant niece because the sister in law didn't believe their mess, and would debate with them the D&C, and the Teachings of the LDS church. Needless to say the two murderers Ron and Dan Lafferty believed God told them to brutally murder not only their sister in law, but their infant niece.

Religion tends to be haven for not only stupid people, but extremely mentally ill people. Don't get me wrong, God can help everyone who come to Him. Also society is chuck filled with stupid, and mentally ill, I am just saying that within religion they kind of percolate a while then.....something bad happens.

They turned this book into a movie, which must be horrible because the book was graphic and extremely grieving. I know that there are many religions that have a history of bloodshed, but the Mormon church is a special kind of crazy. When they have offshoots they usually have people end up dead in the trunk of a car.

Re: Blood Thirsty Mormons

There is a certain oppression in Utah that I haven't felt anywhere else. The LDS church is very demonic in nature, and belief. They have many beliefs that are inline with freemasonry, yet Ive worked and had friends that were masons, they're nothing like LDS, the mormon church took their satanism to a different extreme.

The leaders at the top of the structure of the church know exactly what they're involved in. They know the witchcraft they have given themselves over to, its not because they're simply crazy, they're demonically possessed and oppressed.

On the other hand, there was tongues and intreptation that was given several years ago in a church north of Salt Lake City. And it stated, that we will convert entire congregations to the truth. We're seeing right now, mormons that have been in the church they're whole life, asking for prayer, asking to come to our service. One of the families that have been coming for several months now, told my wife and I, during their general conference, the president which is also their prophet said, if you struggle with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts you need to seek a doctor, WE CANNOT HELP YOU! The time will come that true apostolic authority is going to be needed like never before in yours or my lifetime. People are going to turn to the true church for help, government will not longer be able to give them the assistance like they have, the church will be completely dependent on the Holy Ghost. The time that is coming will be that of judgement, yet during the darkest of times the church shines the brightest.

If these incidents happened about (20yrs) ago, the murders that is, why do you think they're bringing these to light again? What's their motive/agenda? On another note though, I believe God always has way of exposing hypocrisies and that this might just be another method of bringing the scum to the surface! I'm from Utah(not originally) and have lived here since 1997. We started a Home-mission work as well here. I've seen a change in the attitude this generation of LDS young people have towards the LDS faith! They've become more progressive in their thinking and tolerant to modern ideals (women in priesthood, trans clergy, homosexualism, etc...). I see a coming judgement for a so-called, religious system that has propagated false teaching for so long, maybe starting through this gen-z group!! Thoughts?

The book was horrifying. It’s mind blowing the amount of delusion people will take themselves. One psychopathic narcissist, hurling his family headlong into spiritual oblivion.

Re: Blood Thirsty Mormons

The Mormon church has secret Temple rituals practiced primarily in Salt Lake City at their HQ. Several former high ranking Mormons have over the years left the church and come forward with details of those rituals and the beliefs they embody. The one I remember the most is the belief that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers, the two sons of Jehovah (God the Father).

Anyway, the LDS church was and is a Masonic organisation (meaning that it is a secret society founded on many Masonic principles). They had numerous shootouts with the Federal government in the 19th century, and occasionally they bump heads with them in the 20th and 21st centuries.

The whole Bundy Ranch standoff incident and the later takeover of that National Park resulting in the death of one Lavoy Finicum (maybe some others?) were essentially Mormon vs Federal actions. The Mormons have a belief in what is called the White Horse Prophecy, in which they believe at some point the United States would be on the verge of being destroyed by sin and by foreign enemies, and then the Mormons would basically rise up and "save America". Possibly by taking over the government.

Mitt Romney, governor and former Presidential candidate and big-wig in the GOP, is a Mormon.

The FBI and other federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies have specific recruiting programs directed specifically towards Mormons. A federal intel officer I knew back in the 90s (who happened to be a Mormon, coincidentally) said about 75%-80% of all federal intelligence and law enforcement officers are Mormon or recruited as part of the Mormon recruitment strategy.

Make of that what you will.

Mitt Romney was their hope for the fulfillment of that prophecy. However, he didn't make it. They believe a mormon is going to become president and lead the country towards the Zion of the LDS belief.

Mormonism and Islam go hand in hand...
