House Intelligence Committee
This morning, Nunes cancelled the rest of the hearings scheduled for this week. No word as to why they were cancelled, but a lot of rumor and speculation that the POTUS put pressure on Nunes because of testimony from former Deputy AG Sally Yates.
If the POTUS/WH does not want Yates to testify, they need to abide by law and assert executive privilege.
The WH/DOJ claims they were going to allow her to testify, but now the hearing has been cancelled by Nunes, who has visited POTUS at the WH this week after meeting with an unnamed source at the WH.
I haven't believed any conspiracy with the Russians. I still find it very hard to believe. HOWEVER, the more POTUS and the admin obstructs, the more I'm inclined to listen more to the accusations. If there's nothing to it, then the POTUS and admin need to allow the hearings and be transparent.
It's troubling that this is happening. I would expect this from obama or Clinton. And if it were them, I guarantee you there would be an uproar from conservative voters and media hosts. But since it's their guy, most are trying to ignore it.

There are some cons in the conservative movement, who need to be kicked out of Congress and administration. Just as there's a whole boatload of rats in the DemonicRAT party.

Re: House Intelligence Committee
Appearing on CBS this morning Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) joined the chorus of voices blasting Devin Nunes, chair of the House Intelligence Committee:
NORAH O’DONNELL (interviewer): Let me ask you about what Chairman Nunes has done. Do you think it was appropriate that he went to go view these so-called intelligence reports on White House grounds?
MCCAIN: Well, I think there needs to be a lot of explaining to do. I’ve been around for quite a while and I’ve never heard of any such thing. And– obviously– in a committee like an intelligence committee, you’ve got to have bipartisanship, otherwise the committee loses– credibility. And so– l– there’s so much out there that needs to be explained by the chairman. And– look– if– this is a very serious issue. It all started with Russian interference– attempt to change the outcome of our election. And so, it’s turning into a centipede like these things have a tendency of doing. And another shoe seems to drop every few days.
O’DONNELL: And I know that’s why you have called for a select committee, an independent committee, because of the seriousness of these allegations. Should Chairman Nunes reveal his source?
MCCAIN: Well, absolutely. I can’t imagine why not. And I also believe that the entire committee should be engaged. The reason why the armed services committee– honestly does, is successful is we work in a bipartisan fashion. Senator Burr and Senator Warner on our intelligence committee are in the Senate, work closely together. They may have differences, but– you’ve got to have a bipartisan approach to an issue such as this if you want to be credible. . . .There is more engagement– with– with false information. There is– a lot more associated with Russian attempts to affect America. Our election, but there’s also a lot of other Russian activities going on. For example, right now, they’re attempting to affect the outcome in France.
McCain's criticism of Nunes opens the door for more pressure on Nunes from the GOP.
Polls show support for an independent commission rising. In the latest Quinnipiac poll voters favor an independent inquest by a 66 to 29 percent margin.

I don't care what McCain says. McCain is a pompous donkey. A big blowhard. the biggest warmonger in Congress. He's one of the reasons we need strict term limits in Congress.

The administration squashed this today. Now of course she is a tool and will do all she can to cast doubt, but it will be nothing new. This is a total joke. The Dems are sore losers, nothing more.
