Admin actions recently taken
Good afternoon, All
Recent posts about Brother Steve Pixler and his family have caused recent actions to be taken by the Administration of Apostolic Friends Forum.
As it stands, here is what has been done:
All posts related to the issue have been closed until further notice.
Two members have been given 14 day bans.
One member was given a 3 day ban.
In the future, regardless of differences and personally held convictions, it will be expected that posters will restrain their passions and not post anything they wouldn't want posted about themselves or their families.
Lastly, to the family of Brother Steve Pixler, let it be known that Apostolic Friends Forum doesn't condone or accept the rude, hurtful comments made about you all. We offer our sincere apologies, and hope you all can find forgiveness and mercy for us and for the ones recently banned, who attacked you all.
Thank you.
The Admin

Re: Admin actions recently taken
I understand and respect any action you guys & gals take. However I think you yourselves bare some responsibility. Y'all have heralded him making him a hero for forsaking what both he and his Father preached and the doctrine the church given him was established on. I believe families should be off limits. But you are are rejoicing both him, his family have left "legalism" of what y'all call old time Pentecost. So in fairness you poked the cons in the eye now you cry foul that some may have over reacted. If this is offensive then you know how we feel since we know these folks and friends affected by his departure. I hope my attitude is not bad.

Admin does not post as a poster per se so please don't lump all admins as against one group of people. The admin vary in opinions as much as the rest of the forum. However, we are not always here and do not read all post. If you see an offensive post that breaks AFF rules, please report.

Re: Admin actions recently taken
In the past I've seen far worse things said about and to one another, and I guess Admin just decided that enough is enough. I'm good with it.
AFF needs to be a place where all spectrums of Pentecost feel welcome to be who they are without personal insult.
We can disagree, but as Christians, that should never give us a right to cast personal insults on anyone, whether we agree with them doctrinally or not.

I agree. But it should apply to everyone.

how does that work when one spectrum believes that they are the only spectrum and that everyone else is lost?
