As I said previously, Trump on bathrooms

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/...0d912d5fe6dc1?

Of course he never altered his position because he never endorsed the idea of Federal jurisdiction for this matter to begin with.....

Except he did change his position. He was critical of the law, even said people who had a problem with pervs using the wrong bathroom were discriminating against the pervs.

Now he claims States should be allowed to make a law. Which, per his previous statement would be discriminatory against pervs.

One can diavree with the law and defend a State's right to have it. He is not claiming to like the law now and thus has not changed his position.

Re: As I said previously, Trump on bathrooms

"Donald J. Trump’s desire to make America great again has resonated with many voters across America. However, I have to disagree with him on the statement he made about the NC bathroom law HB2 on The Today Show in an interview with Matt Lauer. He said people should use the bathroom they feel appropriate. He said that if Caitlyn Jenner came to Trump Tower, he could use any bathroom he wanted. That’s Mr. Trump’s prerogative on his own property. But businesses and organizations shouldn’t be forced by law to allow men pretending to be women to use women’s restrooms.

NC Governor Pat McCrory and legislators were absolutely right to pass HB2 to protect young girls, boys, and women from sexual predators and perverts. Men have no business using women’s bathrooms and locker rooms. Period.

It’s not up to us to decide our sex — God determines that. The Bible says, “He created them male and female and blessed them.” - Franklin Graham

You go ahead and misrepresent my statement,as you and ndavid frequently do. I side with NC as a sovereign State. I agree with the law but what Trump thinks about it holds no water with me as long as he is not trying to interfere with a State's soveteignty.

Doesn't matter to Trump supporters anymore. Trump is redefining what it means to be Christian and conservative.

Which is why he is a greater threat than Hillary in the WH.

So yielding to State sovereignty on such issues is not good enough for you?You sound more dangerous than Hillary.

This has nothing to do with state sovereignty. Get off your high horse.

This is about a man who wants to be President, who stated he wants to change the GOP platform on abortion, who said he wants to raise taxes on the rich, who said that I'm discriminating because I don't want a pervert to go in the same bathroom as my young daughters, who believes PP is a good organization and has donated millions to liberal candidates and causes. This same man, as POTUS, will have discretion over Federal and SCOTUS Judges, along with input on legislation and bills submitted to Congress.

It is simply naive to believe Trump's views on perverts doesn't matter.
