Obamacare Premiums Skyrocket

When I moved to TN in 2000 my healthcare premiums were $350 a month. On Nov. 2 my premium was $800. I have never had a major health issue. My last physical I was in perfect health. Obamacate promised lower premiums. It promised we could keep our doctors. It promised a lot. But like most government run entities, it's a disaster. Just like we predicted. This presidency is a disaster, just like we predicted.

Obamacare needs repealed or at least greatly altered.

Part of the reason for the premiums skyrocketing though is due to actions by Congress.

There is a key funding provision that the GOP cutoff, practically starving many health insurance co-ops of the funding they needed to survive.

Oh ok. Blame anything, anyone but the one who pushed this thing through against the will of the American people. It was predicted to be too costly from the beginning. The truth is the truth.

"Key funding" = taxpayer dollars. Money we don't have.

I'm just saying, as planned, the health care law would work. With the GOP Congress looking for ways to sabotage it, of course it will not work.

No, it will never work, even if the GOP never fought it. When they created the bill, they withheld data from the budget office that would have shown it was vastly more expensive than they initially stated.

Also, it's illegal, despite what the Supreme Court spouted. Never before, in the history of the USA, have we been taxed simply for existing.

We've been taxed for earning money, we've been taxed for spending money, we've been taxed for owning property, we've even been taxed for dying; but we've never been taxed just for being alive.

This is an affront to the very spirit of this nation, and needs repealed completely.

Not fixed, not modified, just repealed.

When government programs don't work, defenders of the programs say "it's because we aren't spending enough to fund it." They do it w education, welfare, social security, Medicare, et al. This is why there is $19 trillion of debt with more to come.

Can you provide a link.
