* The day of the Lord
* The resurrection of the dead
* The rapture of the living
* The (final) judgment
* The end of history

Mark of the beast is satan's answer to the law of God. As the law was commanded to be held in the heart, soul and might, and indicated as so by referencing it as symbolicially on the hand (might) or forehead (soul), the devil had his counter version. It is not a computer chip.

Deu 6:5-8 KJV And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. (6) And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: (7) And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. (8) And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes (FOREHEAD).

We research the Old Testament in order to understand the imagery in the Book of Revelation. It's ALL found in the OT.

Now I have heard these reffered to as being the same thing. Do you see them as 2 seperate events?

No, I see them as one event. Everything will occur at the single time. The rapture will take people to the white throne judgment, when time ends. At that point sinners will be removed forever, death is gone,etc.
